How does an ice ball work?

Ice balloon is an excellent way to get concentrated cold therapy. The temperature of the water (which usually oscillates between 5 and 10°C), strongly stimulates circulation and helps in faster muscle recovery after training.

In walrus tubs, you are usually submerged up to your armpits, so that the surface of your body is in direct contact with the cold water. To keep the temperature optimally low, we use ice cubes to further turn up the feeling of refreshment or special cooling devices.

Sound like a challenge? Rest assured – beginners should limit themselves only to very short baths of several seconds. After that, the stays can be gradually lengthened as experience and endurance are gained.
