How does a Finnish sauna work?

A dry sauna is the ideal choice if you want to focus on concentrated heat therapy. The high temperature, usually between 80 and 110 degrees Celsius, intensely relaxes the muscles and cleanses the body.

A special furnace with heated stones, which are regularly watered with water, is used to maintain the heat. Despite this, the air remains dry, keeping the humidity at around 10%.

In a Finnish sauna, you can sit or lie on wooden benches that are located at different heights. Higher benches offer a higher temperature, while lower benches offer a lower temperature.
